Reread, this time as an audiobook. It has been long since I listened to an English one, and Audible has changed a lot!

Bourdain’s story is all about what happens behind the restaurant doors. The crew of misfits, the long hours, the drugs and the unwritten rules of the line, told like someone talking to you over a drink. Still an interesting book. The ending is sad to listen to now.
