There’s a difference between using visuals to think and using visuals to present. [[Use your hands to think]] describes the first kind: the act of drawing discovers structure rather than representing what’s already decided. Visual thinkers use the image to reveal something they didn’t know yet. Visualisers use it to show something they already do. In early design work this distinction determines whether the session produces thinking or documentation.
