Notes grow in value when written to evolve

A note written to be finished is less useful than one written to be returned to. Treating a note as a record stops the work at capture, and the archive becomes static. The compounding happens in revision: when you come back six months later and the note surprises you, disagrees with you, or needs updating, that friction is the system working.

Keep unfinished ideas follows from this, if an idea isn’t ready yet, archive it rather than forcing it to resolution.
