French Press
French press is ideal if you’re looking for a strong cup of coffee. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of it, but it’s definitely popular.
The idea is pretty simple. You let the coffee grounds sit in hot water for a few minutes, then press them down to separate the grounds from the coffee. There’s no complicated technique involved. All you need is a French Press
| Coffee | 15g |
| Grind | Coarse |
| Water | 250ml at 90°C to 93°C |
| Time | 4 minutes |
- Add the coffee to the French press.
- Pour in all 250ml of water and make sure all the grounds are saturated.
- Stir gently and place the lid on top without pressing the plunger.
- Let it steep for 4 minutes.
- Gently press the plunger down over 20 to 30 seconds.
- Pour immediately and enjoy.
