If this one gets an oscar, then certainly many other movies from India could have got Oscar years back itself. There have been better movies than this. But as some have pointed out, I guess Slumdog might get the Oscar because the people in the West like to see India this way, as a slum nation - though it's not all that wrong. And IMDB rankings tells the story. SLumdog is in rank 34 when Prestige, a master-piece when compared to the former is just in postition 83 and Cinema Paradiso in 89.
