Udta Punjab, 2016 : Stunning, raw and brilliant. The story plot is a bit predictable and has some old wine flavors, but the making is brilliant and movie throws light to the frightening situation about Punjab’s unfortunate present.
Brilliant performances by lead actors is the best part of movie. New comer Diljit (I liked how he sang Ik Kudi too) and Shahid did their part neatly. Standing ovation to Alia Bhatt, her performance was stunning, fantastic and real.
I have no idea why CBFC thought a movie that directly fights against drug usage could encourage drug usage. If they really believe in that theory, they should reconsider prepending Anti-Smoking-video in front of Indian movies.
